La bellezza dellacqua - The beauty of water
The project aims at illustrating the dynamics of water droplets on surfaces, the dynamics of dense emulsions, the formation of sand dunes due to the passage of internal waves and the influence of vegetation on microplastics retention. Videos will be presented that show the evolution of the aforementioned phenomena, of extreme importance for both environmental and industrial applications. The importance of the films, in addition to illustrating the considered phenomena in an intuitive and immediate way, also lies in transmitting their intrinsic beauty.

Valentina Lombardi is Laboratory Technician at the Department of Engineering of the Roma Tre University. Her scientific interests are in the hydraulic sector.
