BIOPLAnet by Institute POI
The BIOPLAnet project goal is to promote STEAM by raise awareness about circular economy, more specific problem with plastic. On one side DIY bioplastic made by starch from potato and on other side plastic object done by recycling fossil based plastic. To Maker Faire Rome visitors we will show tablecloth where whole process of DIY plastic can be done at home or in the school. We will also show products done from plastic caps (HDPE plastic) using different techniques.
Zrinka Valetic
Zrinka is biologist by profession and founder of the Institute of entrepreneurial education and innovation. She start Institute to raise awareness and make social impact related to responsible use of the resources around us. After she worked for Ministry of Environmental Protection and Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, she decide to engage to rise awarenes with BIOPLAnet project funded by European Social Fund.
