Maker Faire Rome has always been one of my favorite shows. It brings makers, hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and genres together in one place. The ability to show the newest technology and the coolest STEM products is something that can’t be done to this caliber anywhere else. We at DigiKey are lucky to be a part of this great maker event.

Lynx: il razzo-sonda degli studenti del Politecnico di Milano 2.
Can a group of students build a prize-winning sounding rocket? Lynx is the first competition
rocket built by Skyward Experimental Rocketry, a student association from Polytechnic of
Milan, which aims to bring the theoretical knowledge acquired in class one step closer to a
practical application. Lynx competed in EuRoC'21, established by the Portuguese Space
Agency, bringing two prizes and ranking second place among 20 teams from Europes best
technical universities.
Find out how the team achieved these results and all the innovations students can bring to
the table in the future of engineering.
Skyward Experimental Rocketry
Skyward Experimental Rocketry is a student association of Polytechnic of Milan, bringing
together more than 150 students from various engineering faculties, to design and build
experimental sounding rockets.
As such, Skyward has a significant presence among future engineers and experts in the
field.
Our ultimate mission is to live up to the word "experimental" in our name and build a reality
where students and enthusiasts of all ages can be free to safely express and realize their
creativity and potential.
