Maker Faire Rome has always been one of my favorite shows. It brings makers, hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and genres together in one place. The ability to show the newest technology and the coolest STEM products is something that can’t be done to this caliber anywhere else. We at DigiKey are lucky to be a part of this great maker event.

Analogic and Digital Augmented Reality
The illusory perspective, used by Andrea Pozzo to simulate a tabernacle on the plane of the wooden frames, can be considered an Augmented Reality ante litteram, made with only the analogical tools of painting. The prototype proposed here - made using 3D printing to facilitate its reproducibility and dissemination - allows you to combine different illusory models to evaluate their mutual coincidence: there are different forms of perspectives and they are so different from each other, but how do they work? Through digital Augmented Reality it will be possible to reveal the principles of illusion!
