Sustainable models of grapevine cultivation: new approaches to support precision agriculture in the vineyard
The current main goal of agriculture is to promote the resilience of agricultural systems in a sustainable way through the use of newly available technologies aimed to improve the use efficiency of farm resources and increase yield and quality under climate change conditions. In vineyards, the improvement of knowledge of the processes involved in the soil-plant and atmosphere system represents the only way to achieve these general aims, improving the practical impact of the new monitoring technologies. Thus, new approaches to the identification of functional homogeneous zones (fHZs) in vineyards with a multidisciplinary approach will be shown.
