NAOvatar - un robot per la terapia dell'autismo
In recent decades, robotics has become firmly embedded in the field of healthcare and education, with benefits also for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). Our project to treat children with autism spectrum disorder with a humanoid robot involves the use of the NAO complex robotic unit, a small humanoid robot designed to interact with people. NAO will encourage autistic children to interact, reducing anxiety and the risk of overstimulation of children through personalized treatment models.
