A very strong event of the year for every maker. A place that inspires and teaches me something new and gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with a huge number of people in one space. MFR helps develop my project through meeting new clients and makers.

Medibot - supporting homecare
The project aims at designing a system to support the staff and guests of retirement/nursing homes in their daily needs.
The system involves the use of a mobile robot on which an application performing three functions has been developed. The functions are: Smart Delivery (safe delivery of documents and drugs), Telepresence (video calls with family members and other external people) and Guide Me To (support to guests in orienting themselves in the structure). The Smart Delivery function required the 3D printing of a box with two compartments equipped with a smart locker.
