Maker Faire Rome has always been one of my favorite shows. It brings makers, hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and genres together in one place. The ability to show the newest technology and the coolest STEM products is something that can’t be done to this caliber anywhere else. We at DigiKey are lucky to be a part of this great maker event.

Robot Calciatori della competizione RoboCup - team coinvolti: Nao Devils TU Dortmund, SPQR Team
The team Nao Devils from Dortmund will face the team SPQR from Rome in a RoboCup soccer competition with fully autonomous robots playing soccer, following the official RoboCup rules.
The team Nao Devils of the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany participates in the RoboCup Standard Platform League since 2009. Being part of the Robotics Research Institute, we conduct our research in the field of autonomous robotics. The team consists of computer science and electrical engineering students as well as scientists from TU Dortmund. In this year's RoboCup 2022 in Bangkok, we took 4th place in the main competition and 2nd place in the overall ranking of the technical challenges. Throughout the year we take part in various local workshops and events, such as our own workshop RoDeO in Dortmund or the RoHOW workshop in Hamburg. In addition, this year we are happy to support and compete with the SPQR team (from Sapienza University of Rome) at Maker Faire Rome.
