The prototype consists of an universal kit able to convert an ordinary bicycle into a pedal assisted one, unlike other models available on the market, this prototype owns the following worthy differences: 1. The electric speed controller is an opensource project continuously updated by the community; 2. The continuous electric power is 2,5 kW (70km/h max.) produced by a drone BLDC; 3. The high efficiency transmission is a direct drive one; 4. No need in changing parts of the bike for installing this universal kit; 5. High durability LiFePO4 batteries with active BMS.

My name is Roberto, I am 34 years old energy engineer and I got the Ph.D. in 2021. Currently, my job is related to the renewable energy research, in the past I was a teacher and examiner for the engineering faculty. Lastly, I have a long-term job in the Italian Ministry of infrastructure and Transport. I love to find new ways in developing my ideas , to reach my goal, firstly I undertake a in dept analysis of ideas conceived by other makers, after that, I try to improve them with some hackings aimed at adding innovation and greater performances.
