What we already thought would be a fun trip turned out to be so much more: the love and enthusiasm of the exhibitors, attendees and Maker Faire Rome’s team for innovation, education, and general celebration of the maker movement was awe-inspiring. There is so much to see that a single year in attendance is not enough, so if you ever get the opportunity, head to this show, soak in the sea of inventions, and make some great friends along the way.

Fenice Evoluzione, prototipo UniTrento
The goal of the E-Agle Trento Racing Team is to stand out for the adoption of innovative technologies, developed as much as possible in-house. Fenice Evoluzione is an electric single-seater characterized by extensive use of additive manufacturing technologies (especially in the tubular frame with SLM joints) and with a control, power management and telemetry system entirely developed in-house, from the electronics to the software. The team was the first on the Formula Student circuit to adopt AM technologies in the construction of its chassis and boasts one of the most advanced telemetry systems.
