Permanent Structural Safety Monitoring System

Permanent Structural Safety Monitoring System

The Moni2BSafe research group deals with the safety of civil engineering structures (buildings and bridges), with reference to the risk of aging and collapse.
The goal is the control of buildings not only from the point of view but also from that of the "health" of the structures, as happens in most things today, such as cars for example. The proposal is a diffused use of WiFi devices, on an IoT platform.
Sensors have been produced for structures (beams, pillars, floors…), for vibration (seismic sensors), for earthquakes analysis.
