Stella Uzochukwu-Denis
Stella is an Educational Technologist, Electrical Electronics Engineer, a STEM evangelist and enthusiast with Odyssey Educational Foundation with over ten years’ experience working with various schools in Abuja and its environs. She is a Master Educator with Technovation a program that teaches girls to develop mobile Apps. A world class coach with FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Robotics competition. A mentor and Teacher Assistance with the New York Academics of Science STEM mentoring program. The Program Coordinator of the “Invent it Build it” with the Society of Women Engineer.
She ensures that students develop these STEM skills and understanding around different kinds of technology, understand how to use technology to enhance their learning and know how technology can help them be more productive in performing a task.
She is a certified Microsoft trainer; Stella is a trained Climate Reality Leader. She has participated in Google training to help introduce Teacher to using You Tube as an educational tool.
Named as one of the 25 women in Robotic 2017, An Alumni of TechWomen a program organized by the department of States in USA, where she interned with Unity Technologies on the deployment of VR/AR/XR and Gaming in the classroom. A Regional Ambassador for Girl Rising, Society of Women Engineer, Techonvation and The New York Academic of Science. Stella, with over 8yrs experience in the telecom industry.
