E-Chopper
E-chopper is an electric vehicle retrofit created by a group of students from the IIS G. Vallauri institute in Fossano (CN). They refurbished an old chopper, integrated it with a position monitoring system, and provided a comprehensive overview of the vehicle's electric efficiency during the journey. The project aims to address the inherent safety issues of traditional electric scooters by offering a similarly compact vehicle that closely resembles the characteristics of a bicycle.
IIS. G. Vallauri - Fossano (CN)
Fourth and fifth-year students of the Mechatronics and Energy course at IIS G. Vallauri engaged in optional afternoon project areas (AdP). IIS G. Vallauri has been active in the maker scene for years, even before the concept of makers was widely known! From robotics to environmental sustainability, every year the students come up with devices and applications to solve small or big everyday problems, and to challenge themselves with technological ventures they hadn't even considered before.
