Maker Faire Rome è la mia vetrina di innovazione e passione, un luogo dove il mio progetto “ANGELO” ha preso forma grazie alla condivisione di idee, feedback e connessioni con altri maker, permettendomi di portarlo avanti con successo.

Personal Satellite
The Personal Satellite is a "SPRITE" class satellite. It consists of three small-sized boards, slightly larger than a couple of postage stamps. These boards include a Mother Board equipped with a microcontroller and a LoRa radio section, a Payload Board containing some sensors, and a Power Board with a battery or solar cells. This technology proves beneficial for various user categories, including universities, technicians, students, both hardware and software engineers, radio amateurs, and other interested parties. Each of these entities can have a satellite in orbit, even if for a limited period, and receive data transmitted by the satellite itself, including telemetric information and payload data. Using the IoT LoraWan TTN network technology, the data sent by the Personal Satellite is received on land by one or more gateways worldwide and routed via the internet to a mobile phone, tablet, or computer. Essentially, there is no need for a dedicated receiving station. Within a few weeks or at most a few months, the satellite, appropriately placed in a decaying LEO orbit, collides with the Earth's atmosphere and self-destructs. Consequently, no space debris is generated.
