What is the context of your innovation?
Mobility in the city of Taranto presents problems that are not easily solvable, therefore we decided, in collaboration with the Municipality of Taranto, to carry out this study aimed at optimizing vehicular traffic on Viale Magna Grecia in order to improve the safety of pedestrians, motorists and reduce environmental pollution.

What are the next steps?
It is currently a model of the vehicular traffic supervision, monitoring and control system which we will show you in the form of a model depicting an excerpt of the road artery in question and a digitized supervision synoptic. Furthermore, it will be integrated into the PON 2014-2020 “Infrastructures and Networks” system under construction.
