What is the context of your innovation?
To date, the prosthetic market, in the field of upper limbs, does not present safe and low-cost solutions for cycling. In the current state of the art, a person with this type of disability often finds himself in the position of having to stop using a bicycle or even never being able to undertake it.

What is your project about?
The innovation underlying the entire project fits into this complicated context, making use of modern scanning, design and 3D printing technologies and the use of printing materials such as PA12 and PA11, with the aim of responding to the request for these people with disabilities in an innovative way.

What are the next steps?
To date we have created and delivered seven 3D printed prosthetic aids that allow children and adults scattered throughout Italy to practice mountain biking and racing bikes in total safety and with results that guarantee them the achievement of sporting performance. also of value in the competitive field.
