What is the context of your innovation?
We create a new low-tech approach to plastic recycling, to enable anyone to participate. The project has more than ten years of development and is available in open source on preciousplastic.com. Today we can create local communities of recycling artisans who create a circular economy and urban design from waste produced in the area

What is your project about?
Through the design and daily artisanal practice of plastic recycling we continuously create new designs and technical solutions, which are then shared through various online platforms. We draw from them to improve our machinery, products, communities of recycling artisans and our public proposals

What are the next steps?
The project has successfully passed a mixed financing phase and is already active in its main activity of recycling and production of new objects and machinery, as well as in research and prototyping. We are planning investments to increase the impact on the local community and consolidate economic sustainability over time
