Mindtooth: monitora la tua attività cerebrale
What is the context of your innovation?
Today the monitoring of brain activity takes place mainly in laboratories, with complex and not very accessible technologies. Mindtooth makes this assessment available to everyone, in real time and in everyday contexts, such as smart cities, autonomous driving and workplace safety, revolutionizing human-environment interactions.
What is your project about?
Mindtooth is a wearable system that allows you to non-invasively monitor brain activity in real time. The novelty lies in making neurophysiological parameters such as stress and vigilance accessible, outside the laboratories, through a wearable but high quality device
What are the next steps?
The Mindtooth system is already available on the market, and used by industries and research centers to test the effects of human-machine/human-environment interaction. We have plans to further develop the technology, adapting it to different operational contexts.
Pietro Aricò
Our research team, which operates within the Industrial Neuroscience laboratories, and in BrainSigns, an innovative Sapienza start-up, is composed of professionals with backgrounds in engineering, neuroscience and design. We have previously worked on projects related to the evaluation of the user's psychophysical state during human-machine interaction, and wearable technology, developing solutions for physiological monitoring. Our passion for innovation drove us to become makers, combining different skills to create technologies that improve everyday life.
