What is the context of your innovation?
ArcheoSystem is a drone that was created to create a Digital Twin of the excavation areas, and all the archaeological deposits found therein, inside the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The exceptional nature of the excavation context has in fact imposed the search for a fast and innovative survey tool useful to archaeologists.

What is your project about?
ArcheoSystem is equipped with an innovative flight technology based on artificial intelligence and the integration between algorithms and sensors (LiDAR, SFM and SLAM) capable of creating a three-dimensional, scientifically correct, georeferenced and detailed model in a few minutes in indoor contexts with different obstacles and in the absence of an operator.

What are the next steps?
ArcheoSystem is currently in the hardware integration phase ready for a first test within the context next November.
