What is the context of your innovation?
The SmartMe&You app is used in research studies on elderly subjects with cognitive decline/dementia. It is aimed at patients with deficits, for quick screening and monitoring of cognitive/motor functions. Cognitive screening today is a neuropsychological assessment through interviews and specific tests administered by professionals.

What is your project about?
Promote innovative technologies to evaluate/monitor cognitive functions during aging. SmartMe&You consists of 7 "serious" video games on mobile devices (e.g., tablets/smartphones) that measure brain functions such as vigilance, attention and decision-making processes and rapid response to visual stimuli.

What are the next steps?
The project is ongoing. We are acquiring data on healthy subjects and patients with neurodegenerative diseases. The idea is to provide a telemedicine service, which also uses wearable sensors, which simplifies the patient's life and reduces the environmental impact linked to having to undergo periodic evaluation at healthcare facilities.
