What is the context of your innovation?
In Italy, people with motor disabilities reach a percentage of 23.8% out of a disabled population of 4 million (therefore there are almost 1 million disabled people). Among those aged 14 and over this percentage is 23.3% (more than 200 thousand) have difficulty walking on a flat surface for 500 meters and climbing

What is your project about?
Develop the first bionic lower limb prosthesis entirely printed in 3D, with completely new functions and an attractive aesthetic, as well as light, adaptable and economical. Capable of significantly improving the lives of those with this disability by combining electronics with mechanics.

What are the next steps?
Third prototype with an 80% progress status.
We are experimenting and implementing more and more possibilities of movement of the toes, of the entire foot including the ankle and knee
