HoloProject
What is the project about?
HoloProject is a device based on HUD technology. Controlled by a Raspberry Pi and thanks to a totally customizable OS. The project uses a TFT screen and a servo that controls a Plexiglass screen generating the optical illusion. The OS is based on Python and is totally customizable by creating new programs and interactions
Where did you get the idea?
HoloProject was born from the desire to make real those illusions based on holograms seen in science fiction films. The creation process lasted about 1 year and is still ongoing, being a totally evolving project. The process started with a 3D design through to testing of individual components and the final design
How are creativity, technology, ingenuity and innovation combined in your project?
The project is a combination of open source technology and innovation thanks to the combination of different technologies such as the HUD, the design of a customizable OS and a design totally 3D printed in PLA.
