Waste Management 4.0 Robot - AI material detection
What is the context of your innovation?
At present we are not aware that IOT or artificial intelligence is used in waste disposal systems
What is your project about?
Being a school, our project integrates innovative (IOT, AI) and consolidated (PLC Automation) technologies to respond to issues related to environmental issues related to human development. Waste management and the circular economy are central in this sense.
What are the next steps?
The project already works in almost all of its mechanical control and interfacing parts. The AI recognition system is in an embryonic stage (for now it recognizes a few defined objects). At this stage we are dedicating ourselves to learning the AI smart camera
