Come rappresentante Automotive per ST ho avuto l’occasione di presentare dei casi reali nell’ambito automobilistico, dove siamo presenti con i nostri prodotti: ho conosciuto i maker e gli appassionati di tecnologia che li usano, ma soprattutto ho avuto modo di consolidare e tessere nuovi rapporti e collaborazioni con le diverse Squadre Corse universitarie presenti, ed ingaggiare nuovi partner interessati al loro utilizzo. Un’esperienza di grande valore da ripetere.

What is the context of your innovation?
Both prostheses and orthopedic aids are produced with classic production methods which in most cases are subtractive and produce a lot of waste of disposable material. The project is aimed both at end users of prostheses and at orthopedic companies to whom we want to propose an innovative alternative
What is your project about?
We have developed an innovative production methodology based on new technologies and have developed various products including pediatric upper limb prostheses, custom-made insoles and covers for aesthetic prostheses. All this while lowering production costs, waste and energy used
What are the next steps?
We have developed this project over the years and have demonstrated its effectiveness with the products developed. We used the results of the project both for the sale of our innovative products (e.g. custom-made insoles) and in humanitarian missions (Uganda, CORSU pediatric orthopedic hospital).
