What is the context of your innovation?
The impact of EatWise PinCam can be significant in terms of improving the autonomy and quality of life of people with visual impairments. EatWise PinCam positions itself in an innovative way in the world of virtual assistants, allowing the integration of people with visual disabilities in different contexts, enhancing their abilities.
What is your project about?
Our device contributed to integration for people with disabilities, introducing a compact and functional accessory into common life. Through the camera the user views a food and can receive information about it, through the use of the OpenAI API.
What are the next steps?
The project is in a prototype phase. An initial prototype of the device has been developed, which includes the hardware configuration and writing of the basic software for capturing images and processing them via the OpenAI API.
