Agassante - Aid for Visual and Hearing Impaired
Agassante assists individuals with visual and hearing impairments using auditory and tactile feedback. It employs a 3D stereo camera to capture spatial data and convert it into musical sounds, indicating obstacle positions and distances. For hearing impairments, it uses Pitch Shifting to adjust sound frequencies to the user's hearing range and Time Stretching to modify the duration of audio signals for better comprehension.
Gabriel Valentin Cristescu
I am an electronics engineer working solo. From a young age, I built various projects with my uncle, who inspired my passion for making. My education in electronics has equipped me to create innovative solutions like Agassante, driven by the desire to improve accessibility for individuals with sensory impairments.
