Bodynodes
What is the context of your innovation?
My project fits into the field of motion capture, where there already exist various techniques and companies that offer their own solutions. Bodynodes stands out for its flexibility, modularity and ease of use. It is designed to suit different applications, such as animation, robotics and video games, mainly targeting hobbyists.
What is your project about?
Bodynodes allows hobbyists to create motion capture applications at very low cost. Additionally, children and teenagers can play VR games using their smartphone or tablet, without the need to purchase expensive equipment. This makes motion capture accessible and fun for a wider audience.
What are the next steps?
I have already developed a series of sensors that I improve every year, and I am working on a special version for this year. I have also created some games, which I plan to further improve. Furthermore, I am currently working on a robotic arm, aiming to make it more interactive and versatile.
Manuel Bottini
I have previously participated in the Maker Faire, always focusing on Bodynodes. I am an electronic engineer graduated in Turin. My passion for technology and innovation has led me to become a maker, dedicating myself to advancing this project and exploring new possibilities in the field of motion capture.
