Smart robotic platform for elderly care
The proposed solution consists of a smart robotic platform and an AI module, developed in the H2020 project ODIN, able to monitor and support the rehabilitation treatment of the elderly patient, capable of reconstructing the kinematics of the user skeleton, using an RGB-D camera, and providing constant physical and cognitive feedback tailored to the his/her performance.

The team is made up of researchers working in the field of biomedical engineering. Our main objective is to develop solutions aimed at addressing specific user needs. The team has a long-lasting experience in: developing human-robot interaction control strategies, analysing human motor behavior, estimating user intention through the fusion of biosignals, monitoring the biomechanical and psychophysiological state, adapting robot behaviour on the basis of user needs.
