Come rappresentante Automotive per ST ho avuto l’occasione di presentare dei casi reali nell’ambito automobilistico, dove siamo presenti con i nostri prodotti: ho conosciuto i maker e gli appassionati di tecnologia che li usano, ma soprattutto ho avuto modo di consolidare e tessere nuovi rapporti e collaborazioni con le diverse Squadre Corse universitarie presenti, ed ingaggiare nuovi partner interessati al loro utilizzo. Un’esperienza di grande valore da ripetere.

What is the context of your innovation?
The idea can be applied in small municipalities but also in large cities, where the need to intervene quickly in case of emergencies can really save human lives. It is aimed at municipal and provincial administrations and obviously at the operations centers of emergency vehicles of all types.
What is your project about?
The project consists of equipping municipalities with an intelligent road sign control system, which can intervene during the intervention of emergency vehicles, planning their route and facilitating it near traffic lights. The presence of a software platform also allows us to provide useful preliminary information.
What are the next steps?
A working prototype has been created. The idea can be developed together with the partner company and proposed to the municipal administration as a first testing phase.
Allievi del corso ITS "Tecnico superiore per i sistemi meccatronici, robotics, industry 4.0"
In the first year of this ITS course, there is a specific module related to Design Thinking which has always been used to propose innovative solutions. Within this module the design methodology is illustrated but the technical solutions useful for the realization of each project are also studied. We have already participated previously in two other editions of the Maker Faire with the same method and with often original projects.
