Parlascolta
What is the project about?
Parlascolta is a contemporary street furniture, a Made in Italy design work conceived in Rome by Studio Algoritmo based on an idea by Giuseppe Casalini, designed to rediscover the art of dialogue, encourage human connections and stimulate empathetic listening.
Where did you get the idea?
The idea was born from the personal experience of its creator, who contacted a series of professionals creating a team to carry it out. The design is by Studio Algoritmo, the creation of the Model and Prototype Projects Laboratory of the Department of Architecture of the University of Roma Tre, in the person of Filippo Moroni.
How are creativity, technology, ingenuity and innovation combined in your project?
The project translates the aura of this "sacred space" into furniture with the prerogatives of the best made in Italy. The sinuous lines are functional to the meeting and stimulate it. The concrete and iron refer to rigidity and prejudice which are canceled out in the enveloping and inclusive aesthetics of the seat.
