Adiconsum is a Consumer Association with over 38,000 members, formed in 1987. It is present in all the Italian Regions with over 160 Territorial Information and Consultancy Offices in the major Italian cities. He’s a member of the National Consumer and User Council at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy as a representative national association. She’s registered with the social advancement associations.
Adiconsum is a member of BEUC, a federation of European consumer associations with 45 members in 31 countries.
Adiconsum manages the Usury Prevention Fund set up by the Treasury and since 2006 has been the European Consumer Centre of the ECC-Net network for cross-border assistance, on behalf of the European Commission and the Ministry of Business and the Made in Italy.
Adiconsum fights against abuses and injustices to the detriment of Consumers (misleading advertising, unfair practices, deceptions, scams, etc.), so that their rights to be informed are recognized; to be defended against unfair commercial practices, against scams, against crazy bills, against unfair fines, against unclear and oppressive contracts; to choose consciously in a market of products and services that is increasingly sustainable from an economic, social and environmental point of view.
