The path of innovation and research designed by FabLab Poliba in collaboration with the MArTA of Taranto aims to extend the use of cultural heritage to a wider audience, exploiting the possibilities offered by digital fabrication. In particular, the talk will focus on the advantages offered by new technologies, such as 3D scanning and printing, for the reproduction of archaeological, artistic and monumental heritage in general that can become the protagonists of tactile paths of fruition for the blind and visually impaired, expanding the concept of conservation and transmission of cultural heritage.
