A regional dynamic ecosystem of R&I and know-how carrier composed of 7 Universities, 40 advanced research centers, 7 technological districts, 21 public and private laboratories, 33 structures that support the new entrepreneurship (incubators, science and technology parks, fablabs, accelerators and business service centres), 6 certified incubators (Campania Newsteel, from the partnership between Università degli Studi Federico II and Città della Scienza, 012 Factory, InCibum Lab, Incubatore Campano, Startup Europa and Incubatore SEI), 1387 INNOVATIVE STARTUPS and 173 INNOVATIVE SMEs.
ECOREI, project managed by Sviluppo Campania on behalf of the Campania Region, aims to support and promote the regional system of research and innovation through a plurality of actions:
- analysis of the ecosystem of Research and Innovation;
- dissemination of regional, national, European and international R&I opportunities;
- promotion of the subjects of the ecosystem and their activities and planning;
- participation in national and international initiatives to promote the enhancement of the R&I and networking ecosystem (National Technology Clusters, European Thematic Platforms, Vanguard Initiative, International Cluster and Network);
- support services and free personalized advice to SMEs, startups and spin-offs (Value Lab)
