Nir Goldstein is the Managing Director of The Good Food Institute Israel, a global science-based nonprofit organisation which is the world leader in alternative protein technologies – innovative novel ways to produce meat without using animals.
Nir is a global leader in the field, and consulted the last two Israeli Prime Ministers on Israel’s national foodtech strategy. GFI promotes scientific research and is the world’s leading sponsor of academic research of cultivated meat. We work with the business sector, from entrepreneurs with just an idea to the biggest food and agri corporations; and consult governments all around the globe, from Israel to the US, the EU, and Singapore on their foodtech strategies.
Nir will present the immense challenges of our food system, why alternative proteins are the solution, the current state of the global ecosystem and where we are heading. He’ll put a spotlight on investment trends, opportunities and Israel’s ecosystem.
