Sara Krugman

Sara Krugman is a health care designer with a focus on advocating for individuals within the domain of healthcare. She studied design at the Copenhagen institute for interaction design and has since had a visible impact on the adoption of human centered design methodologies within the diabetes industry. She started and led the design efforts at Tidepool.org as well as the user interface for the iLet, a bi-hormonal closed loop system for people with type 1 diabetes. She currently runs her own consulting studio called HealthMade Design where we work with big and small companies, foundations, researchers and entrepreneurs to make healthcare solutions that meet people where they are at.
