Steven Jepeal

n 2016, Steve joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a graduate student to help fight climate change by studying Fusion. At MIT, he developed a new way to study how fusion materials change over time from the radiation created inside of a fusion reactor. With help from his teammates at Eni, Steve was able to publish his research and win an Innovation Award from the U.S Department of Energy. After finishing his project and PhD thesis, Steve graduated from MIT in 2021. He has now founded a startup called Allium Engineering, where his team is developing innovative materials for making bridges and buildings longer lasting to reduce carbon emissions
