Nicola Coppedè as representative of the SIGNAL GROUP – IMEM CNR
Nicola Coppedè graduated in Physics at the University of Pisa in 2001 and he obtained the PhD degree in Physics at the University of Trento in 2006 with title: “A novel approach to Nano-Hybrid Materials based on the Codeposition of Supersonic Molecular and Cluster Beamsâ€. He has been selected in Calmed Spin off University Magna Graecia Catanzaro in 2007. Then he was winner of a temporary position as researcher in IMEM CNR Trento in 2009 and successively winner of a permanent position as researcher in IMEM CNR Parma in 2012. His research activity is focusing on development of organic biosensors on textile, for biomedical and physiological applications. He is has realized innovative device on textile for the monitoring of human physiological fluids. He is expert of the material functionalization with organic, metal oxide and nanohybrid materials. He is also expert in the preparation and characterization of the devices on different functional substrates (textile, porous polymer, carbon fiber). He published more than 50 paper in international journals, 4 patents and more than 30 congress contributions. He has been involved in several projects, like “DAFNE†(caritro) and “FotoMINA†(Provice of Trento).
