Custom-made mobile manipulation platform ETFATVMover4
This custom-made mobile manipulation platform was build ground up using off-the-shelf components with plug-and-play concept in mind. The base is built from skid-steer aluminium based mobile robot with four DC motors controlled with DC drive controller. Low level control is based on Pixhawk system with GPS and IMU sensors. Higher level control is implemented around Hardkernel ODROID-C2. This embedded system is powered by Raspbian Linux OS and Robotic Operating System. It is also connected to the low level system by serial protocol connection (MAVLink). This enables easier implementation of other systems, mainly Commonplace Robotics Mover4 robot arm. Other sensors include, 2D Hokuyo range scanner, RGB camera, Kinect etc. The main advantage of the systems is its reconfigurability and it is very easy to change and mount different sensors, even the robot arm.

Jasmin Velagic, Dinko Osmankovic
Jasmin Velagic is a professor of robotics and mechatronics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo and head of the Department of Automatic Control and Electronics. He received a MSc degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia in 1999 and a Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, in 2005. His research is mainly focuses on intelligent control, mobile robotics, industrial automation, adaptive and robust control. He has published over 100 papers in journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. Over the last past years my research group (LARAS) has developed several mobile robot platforms and multirotor systems as well as a series of innovative techniques for the robot localization, path planning and 3D modelling of outdoor environments. Prof. Velagic Dr. Velagic is a member of IEEE Control System, IEEE Robotics and Automation and IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Societies.
Dinko Osmankovic is with the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He received his PhD in 2015 at the University of Sarajevo. He is currently employed as assistant professor at the Department of Automatic Control and Electronics. His research interests include 3D thermal mapping, data analysis, machine intelligence and graph theory. He is the member of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
