Opening the classroom to the Maker world and the STEAM approach with ALLKNOW EDUCATION

ALLKNOW Education brings to Maker Faire Rome the new frontiers of education, spanning from educational robotics to Maker Spaces and teacher training.

ALLKNOW Education is not just a specialized distributor of educational robotics and STEAM products. Thanks to a team of experts in pedagogy and new technologies, it has always offered consulting, support, and personalized training for teachers and schools. And its goal is ambitious: to add value to materials by helping educators effectively and sustainably integrate innovative tools into the classroom.
This mission extends beyond Italy thanks to the company’s branches in Germany, Spain, and Portugal, which are ready to bring the same vision and educational support to a European level.

A school in transformation

In recent years, education has undergone a profound evolution. Teaching methodologies and the integration of digital technologies have become central elements in preparing students for a future characterized by rapid and continuous change. In this context, schools must respond to new challenges: developing digital skills, fostering creativity, and nurturing an innovative mindset. Promoting technological vocations and creating learning paths that encourage critical thinking and collaboration are now key objectives of educational planning.

STEAM: when science meets creativity

The STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) is today one of the pillars of innovative education. Introduced in 2008 by American educator Georgette Yakman as an evolution of STEM, STEAM integrates the arts and creativity with scientific and technological knowledge.
This model is closely linked to the Maker Movement and the Do It Yourself (DIY) philosophy: learning by doing, sharing knowledge, and developing tangible projects to solve real-world problems. This is how technology becomes democratized, entering schools in the form of 3D printers, robotics kits, prototyping labs, and much more.

ALLKNOW Education’s interactive workshops at Maker Faire Rome

Maker Spaces and educational robotics

More and more schools are creating Maker Spaces—labs where students can work in teams, experiment, and develop interdisciplinary projects. These are environments where what is already known connects with what still needs to be learned, in a continuous cycle of discovery and innovation.
Among the most effective tools to stimulate student engagement and motivation is educational robotics. It not only enables students to build and program robots but also helps them develop critical thinking, creativity, and cross-disciplinary skills. Robotics makes students active protagonists in their own learning journey.

ALLKNOW Education at Maker Faire Rome: workshops for all ages!

This year too, ALLKNOW Education is at Maker Faire Rome with many interactive workshops, open to anyone who wants to explore the tools that make Maker Spaces and STEAM learning possible all around the world.
In each hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity to see and try innovative technologies and experience the methodology that the company has always put at the service of schools, teachers, and students.

Check out the program and mark the sessions you don’t want to miss:
