How to apply

How to apply? There are many ways to participate in Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition

How to Apply at Maker Faire Rome 2020? Alone, in a group, with your work team…

Inventors, craftsmen, startups, companies, research institutes, schools, universities: everyone can participate because…everyone is a maker and has something to share!

Ideas, projects, prototypes, new products, all kinds of inventions, original ones or ones that have already proven their worth, in the form of prototypes or already in production, especially if they can improve work or life of a large number of people, are all welcome.

Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition provides space to projects that show the process by which innovation comes about and that enrich the event by conveying the passion and ingenuity that produced them.

Find out more about the themes in the preview of the eighth edition and decide which is the category for you.

How to participate as a visitor

This year, you won’t have to come to Rome: we’ll bring you the future wherever you are, for free, on your phone, tablet or PC.

We decided to renew the MFR format as well, transforming it from a paid physical event into a free digital event.

From 10 to 13 December, we’ll be coming to your home with a wave of ideas, attractions, innovations and entertainment, as is the tradition of Maker Faire. MFR2020 is fully digital!

We’ve created a digital platform, inspired by the event you know and love, where the pavillons are themed pathways and the stands are web pages with exhibitors available to interact with you. As always, there’ll be a rich calendar of live events, talks, webinars, workshops and conferences on the main themes of innovation, as well as on the latest issues that the pandemic has prompted us to investigate.
