Maker Faire Rome welcomes projects at every stage — from early prototypes to production-ready inventions — with a particular interest in work that addresses real needs and improves how people live, learn or work.

Each year, the open Calls invite makers, students, researchers, universities and innovators to submit their projects for consideration.

A jury evaluates each submission on originality, innovation, social or environmental impact, and practical feasibility.

Projects selected through the calls for makers and schools receive exhibition space at no cost.

Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition is open to the public from 23 to 25 October 2026.

Three days of hands-on demonstrations, workshops, talks and performances, open to everyone and built around a simple idea: technology is best understood when people can see it, test it and try it for themselves. Each edition brings together makers, researchers, students, families and professionals curious to explore what is being built, tested and shared today.

Maker Faire Rome returns to the Gazometro Ostiense, 23–25 October 2026.

The 14th edition of Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition brings together makers, researchers, companies, students and the public for three days of exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances and hands-on activities.
