Come rappresentante Automotive per ST ho avuto l’occasione di presentare dei casi reali nell’ambito automobilistico, dove siamo presenti con i nostri prodotti: ho conosciuto i maker e gli appassionati di tecnologia che li usano, ma soprattutto ho avuto modo di consolidare e tessere nuovi rapporti e collaborazioni con le diverse Squadre Corse universitarie presenti, ed ingaggiare nuovi partner interessati al loro utilizzo. Un’esperienza di grande valore da ripetere.

NEVER ENDING POWER PACK
One of the biggest problems for the effective diffusion of electric vehicles is the part related to the autonomy of the same vehicles. The increase in battery capacity is not feasible, neither for cost reasons nor for the actual availability of raw materials (lithium) for the achievement of a significant percentage of circulating vehicles. In addition, there is a lack of psychological propensity on the part of many potential customers compared to the possibility of remaining with the discharged batteries and not having the possibility or the time to recharge them. A high efficiency and low cost charging system, based on an internal combustion engine with a very low environmental impact, allows to reduce the dimensions, the masses and the cost of the battery pack connected to it. It also allows the energy management of an electric car as if it were a normal car powered by liquid fuel.
