If it is considered of interest and we are able to host more exhibitors, you will be given the opportunity to participate in Maker Faire Rome 2025

Maker Faire Rome 2025 is one of Europe’s leading innovation and technology fairs, open to startups, makers, researchers, universities, schools and creative teams from all over the world. The event will take place from 17 to 19 October 2025 at the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome.

The Call for Makers 2025 has been extended to 7 July 2025 to submit your project and apply for a free exhibition stand at this major international event dedicated to technology, innovation and creativity.

The event will mainly be held in person, with exhibitions, workshops and conferences. Talks and educational sessions will also be available in digital and multi-channel formats.

How to apply

Taking part is easy:

• Complete the online application form with a clear and detailed description of your project

• Upload images, videos or renderings that best showcase your work

• Check the official guidelines to ensure your proposal meets the selection criteria

All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts.

Project categories

Maker Faire Rome 2025 welcomes projects in a wide range of fields, including:

• Technology & Innovation: 3D printing, artificial intelligence, IoT, electronics, robotics

• Sustainability: agritech, circular economy, smart cities

• Science & Health: biotechnology, digital health, scientific research

• Creativity & Culture: digital craftsmanship, AR/VR, wearables

• Education & Society: coding, food innovation, educational initiatives

Participation formats

You can choose to:

• Exhibit: showcase your project at your own stand
• Run a workshop: deliver an interactive or educational activity (costs for materials may be reimbursed; see guidelines)
• Perform live: present interactive or spectacular demonstrations
• Deliver a talk: share your experience either on stage or online
