“MakeLab – Let’s Create Together” is the Maker Faire Rome area dedicated to hands-on workshops: a place where people learn by doing, testing, building and trying things for themselves.

Visitors must register in advance to take part.
Each workshop is designed around practical activities and the principle of learning by doing.

Participants are not there simply to watch. They are invited to experiment, complete tasks, develop practical skills and leave with a clearer understanding of the ideas, tools or technologies explored during the session.

We are looking for workshops that are:

Built around learning by doing, where hands-on experience helps people understand ideas, tools and technologies
Engaging and accessible, with an informal approach to science, technology and creativity
Focused on practical skills, helping participants learn something they can use, apply or develop further
Open to a wide audience, including students, makers, technicians, professionals, families and anyone curious to learn by making
