Introduction to calls

Our mission is to foster digital culture among a wide range of users, entrepreneurs, and innovators. The twelfth edition of Maker Faire Rome is scheduled from October 25th to 27th, 2024 at the Gazometro Ostiense.

The event will predominantly take place in person, featuring exhibitions and conferences, while workshops, talks, and educational events will also be accessible in a digital, multi-channel, and virtual format.

Do you want to exhibit your project at Maker Faire Rome?

Calls closed on 20th June 2024 (after extension), but you can propose your project for the waiting list of the Call for Makers, if a place becomes available, your project could still be selected!

The Call for Makers 2024 aims to identify the Makers and startups who will participate in the event through an application process at the end of which the selected projects will exhibit at the Gazometro with a free stand. Read more!

The Call for Schools 2024 aims to promote innovation that arises at school, spreading digital culture and encouraging the development of both individual and collective entrepreneurship. School projects will be evaluated and awarded during the event. For projects coming from schools, a reimbursement of expenses is provided in addition to the free stand. Read more!

The Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2024 aims to promote innovation by spreading digital culture and stimulating individual entrepreneurship and collective. We will select the most deserving projects from State Universities and Public Research Institutes to have them exhibited at the event. Read more!
