After an entirely digital edition in 2020, Maker Faire Rome is now also in-person again!
From 8 to 10 October you will be able to explore the stands once again, to discover, innovate and create together with makers and partners, in complete safety, in the new location in the heart of the city: the Gazometro Ostiense.
The choice of the Ostiense Gazometro is highly evocative: it is located in the area that radically transformed the industrial and entrepreneurial landscape of Rome in the early 1900s, giving the city a district that still retains its vocation for innovation.
The Ostiense Gazometro area is a vibrant and surprising space that is both a conceptual and visual symbol of the will to change, transform and grow.
It’s the perfect place to host the in-person edition of Maker Faire Rome.
At the Gazometro Ostiense you will find six thematic areas organised into 11 exhibition spaces: Research, Fabrication, Arts, Life, Health, Education, the stands of the exhibitors – makers and companies – their projects and the opportunity to meet and engage in discussions with them all. Furthermore, this year the Maker Music section will also have a dedicated physical space: in addition to the rich programme of meetings, talks and workshops, an interactive and very engaging installation awaits you at the Gazometro Ostiense.
Maker Faire Rome at the Gazometro Ostiense will take place in full compliance with the anti Covid-19 provisions. For this reason, the Kids Area will not be there.
Tickets for Maker Faire Rome 2021 can be purchased exclusively online.
In accordance with Law Decree 105/2021, from 6 August 2021 it will be necessary to show the Covid-19 Green Pass to access the area.
