After an entirely digital edition in 2020, Maker Faire Rome WAS now also in-person again!
From 8 to 10 October it was possibile to explore the stands once again, to discover, innovate and create together with makers and partners, in complete safety, in the new location in the heart of the city: the Gazometro Ostiense.
The choice of the Ostiense Gazometro is highly evocative: it is located in the area that radically transformed the industrial and entrepreneurial landscape of Rome in the early 1900s, giving the city a district that still retains its vocation for innovation.
The Ostiense Gazometro area is a vibrant and surprising space that is both a conceptual and visual symbol of the will to change, transform and grow.
It’s the perfect place to host the in-person edition of Maker Faire Rome.
At the Gazometro Ostiense Maker Faire Rome presented six thematic areas organised into 11 exhibition spaces: Research, Fabrication, Arts, Life, Health, Education. Furthermore, this year the Maker Music section also had a dedicated physical space: in addition to the rich programme of meetings, talks and workshops and an interactive and very engaging installation.
