The 2022 edition will be held from 11 to 17 July at Cà Foscari University in Venice and will host a small group of teams, made up of at least two people, who will work for seven days in presence, supported by mentors, coaches and professionals experts, on their innovative idea, alternating theory lessons and practical laboratories.

The world needs new generations of entrepreneurs open to innovation and sustainability: now more than ever there is a need for new ideas and new energy.
This is why Human Knowledge Lab (HK Lab) was born, an Idea Validation program initiated by Joule, Eni’s school for business, in collaboration with LVenture Group and Polihub, the Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator of the Politecnico di Milano .

HK LAB 2022: Venice edition
HK Lab foresees a 7-day full time commitment in attendance. This edition will be held from 11 to 17 July at the Cà Foscari University of Venice.
The approach
The approach is engaging: theory and practice alternate, and so are the contributions of startups, Eni experts and professionals from the world of innovation, prestigious Business Schools and academic contexts of excellence.
Also available to participants are tutors and coaches, to support them in the process of individual growth and development.
What ideas can be submitted to HK LAB?
The program of this edition focuses on technological and / or digital applications in the fields of sustainable mobility, logistics, decarbonisation, circular economy and the fight against climate change, with application to transversal sectors: not only Energy, therefore, but also Food & Beverage, Fashion, Real Estate, Automotive or Mobility.
Who can apply
HK Lab is aimed at teams of at least two people. You must be of age and have an innovative idea – of service, product, process -.
The ideal target are university students, researchers, members of university spin-offs and even early stage startups, who need to further validate their business idea.
Contents and insights
HK Lab’s goal is to allow participants to validate their idea.
Several key themes will be addressed:
- market analysis and identification of the target audience
- acquisition channels and market tests
- validation of the business concept
- definition of a development roadmap
Besides, participants will make the most of:
- an onboardig prep phases (remote)
- soft skills development training

All participants selected to attend will have the chance to win:
