Founded by Jerry Mouser, a high school physics teacher, Mouser Electronics – a company specializing in new product introductions (NPIs) from its partner manufacturers to design engineers and buyers – has always been committed to serving makers and hobbyists since its origins.
The history of the company was born from the desire to satisfy the needs of students through the supply of electronic components. This commitment to accessibility and inclusiveness remains at the core of Mouser’s identity today.

Sharing and participation; enthusiasm and involvement: Mouser Electronics is preparing to open a large stand to the public of Maker Faire Rome, at Pav. 3 “Make” of Fiera di Roma in which innovators, curious people and makers will have the opportunity to meet the company’s technical team, ready to satisfy everyone’s curiosities, to share skills and resources useful to those who have an original and creative project in mind.
There are many fun and innovative activities that will take place, including two unmissable challenges and the chance to test yourself with a historic game, Pacman.
- The circuit design challenge in cooperation with Sparkfun: a real challenge in which visitors will be able to design their own circuits to light up the LEDs
- The “Do you know how to crimp it?” challenge: in cooperation with Molex, it is the occasion in which visitors will have some crimping tools available to try
- The voice-controlled, machine-learning Pacman game in cooperation with Silicon Labs

But there’s more: the Mouser Electronics stand, from 20 to 22 October, will also host the demo of ADI’s bicycle power meter, which will measure the power generated by all those who want to pedal on the bike during the event.
