A smart device that allows you to recreate the perfect conditions anywhere to grow plants, vegetables, and fruit

We hear more and more often about hydroponics, which is the growing method that allows us to grow plants even without the use of soil or large dedicated spaces. An innovation that on the one hand optimizes the production of vegetables and fruit, and on the other, it allows for the creation of green areas even where it would be unimaginable, such as on the roofs of city buildings.

But there is another advantage linked to this way of cultivating plants and food, namely, the possibility of easily setting up your own hydroponic garden at home. In fact, everyone can have their own “garden” with the right apparatus.

In fact, the electronic device that we are going to present to you was specially designed for growing plants using the hydroponic growing system. It is called BioPile NANO and is the result of an Italian start-up in the province of Frosinone. Let’s see in detail what this smart green device can do.

BioPile is assembled vertically. Inside the base, various hydroponic cultivation cells (the growing medium) are placed and the cylinder-shaped container houses the various types of seeds, grafted into flexible pods that are sold separately.

The entire cultivation process is regulated by a special software program that manages the various mechanical, chemical, and physical functions necessary to recreate the favorable microclimate for the plants to grow.

To get started, you only need to fill a special tank at the base of the appliance with 16 quarts (16 liters) of water at the beginning of each growing cycle. From that point on, a system of pumps and oxygenators will transport the water to the seeds and roots, distinguishing each different type of plant species. The device is indeed so intelligent that it is able to modulate and recreate the individual conditions suitable for the growth of each plant while also monitoring light and ventilation.

In short: BioPile NANO really is, as its creators claim, “the smallest garden in the world”, a practical, innovative, and green cultivation system for growing plants and vegetables anywhere and at any time.
