SuperEvolotto arrives at the Maker faire: the only bingo in which numbers are not extracted but are environmental variables and in which populations of insects are used instead of cards! Indeed, to be precise, of insect ancestors, who will have to try to survive for 400 million years between glaciations, hungry predators and life-saving mutations. Will you be able to survive over time? How will your insects change over millions of years of evolution? Come and find out by playing with us.

ASSOCIAZIONE G.ECO

G.Eco (www.gecologia.it) is an association based in Rome that, for over 10 years, has been dealing with the dissemination of scientific culture, environmental education and teaching ecology. The Association carries out educational and edutainment activities on issues of Biology and Ecology aimed mainly at children and on special occasions also to adults. G.Eco was established as a cultural association in 2009 by graduates in Ecology and Evolution and in Primary Education Sciences. The presence of a multidisciplinary working group has allowed the realization of quality activities both from a scientific and didactic-pedagogical point of view. This is further strengthened by the presence in the Association of Dr. Caterina Lorenzi, Researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata specializing in teaching ecology and education for sustainable development. G.Eco collaborates with various educational institutes distributed throughout the Lazio region and with various public and private bodies, including: Frascati Scienza Association, Bioparco di Roma, Umberto Veronesi Foundation, Institution System of Libraries and Cultural Centers, Botanical Garden of the University of Studies of Rome "Tor Vergata", Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park, Lazio Region and the three public universities of Rome (Sapienza, Tor Vergata and Roma Tre). From 1 April 2016 it provides educational operators for guided tours and activities at the Sapienza Botanical Garden Museum - University of Rome. He has also collaborated with Città del Sole, Explora - The children's museum of Rome, Italian Institute of Technology, Regional Park of the Castelli Romani, Rai 3 (in the program “Whole Health”), Tecnoscienza.it, ToScience. In 2019 he started an important collaboration with De Agostini Scuola, for which he created a text for lower secondary school and seminars for teachers on sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda. Also in 2019, he contributed to the creation of an accredited training course for teachers on the theme of biodiversity read through the lens of the 2030 Agenda, in collaboration with La Fabbrica SpA and the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.
From 26 October 2016 to 30 June 2018 G.Eco managed the edutainment activities of Luneur Park, both with the general public and with schools, for a total of 20,000 activities carried out for children from 1 to 12 years old. Thanks to the collaboration with the company "La Fabbrica", has created workshops and educational content for: Amazon, Arval, Action against hunger, Coca-Cola HBC Italia, Enel, Enel Green Power, Esselunga, Estra, Ferrovie dello Stato, Findomestic, Fruit in the Schools (Color Wellness), Green Vision, Henkel, ING, Monini, Play Doh, Samsung, San Pellegrino, Sky, TIM, Wind. G.Eco has participated and participates in scientific dissemination events including European Researchers' Night "(2010-2019)," Festival della Scienza "in Genoa (2013-2019)," Festival del Verde e del Paesaggio "(2012- 2019), "Mantova Food & Science Festival" (2017-2020), "Einstein Island" (2019), "Maker Faire" (2018-2019), "Think Green Ecofestival" (2019), "Festival della Ruralità" Alta Murgia Park (2014), "Children's Festival - New Worlds" in Florence (2015), "The Weeks of Science" in Turin (2014), "Librinsieme - Libriamoci nella Scienza" (2015 and 2016), "CassanoScienza "(2015 and 2020). In 2010 he organized and created a season of Caffè Scienza in Rome. G.Eco participated in the national congresses of the SItE (Italian Society of Ecology) and SIBE (Italian Society of Evolutionary Biology), of which he is also member.
