PhasmaFOOD's primary goal was to design and implement a multi-target mini-portable food-sensitive system for in-field sensing of food quality. The integrated miniaturized PhasmaFOOD system is capable of detecting food hazards, spoilage and food fraud through the combination of spectroscopies. The connected device will be integrated with a parameterized software architecture based on the acquired data for on-site detection of food quality.
